Corporate website: FS Investments

The FS Investments website redesign was long overdue – the old CMS couldn’t handle FS’s growing suite of funds and expanding research content. The main goals of this redesign were to improve flexibility, increase scale and efficiency, connect to the sales framework and deliver experiences based on our audience’s needs. The project was completed in four phases: Discovery, Development, Refinement and Production.

Discovery

In discovery, I conducted competitive research, collected inspiration and analyzed current site data and analytics to conceptualize solutions for our website redesign.

Development

In development, I designed wireframes and prototypes based on research and stakeholders’ requirements. During weekly meetings, I’d collect feedback and continue iterating on my designs.

Refinement

In refinement, my team and I facilitated user-testing with stakeholders across the firm to collect feedback and worked with developers and marketing coordinators to solve functionality and responsive discrepancies across the site.

I used Confluence to outline specs and requirements for specific pages and components.

Production

In production, we solved any outstanding functionality and responsive discrepancies. By July 2020, we successfully launched the new website on WordPress. Post launch, I continued to maintain, iterate and expand our web experiences for internal and external audiences.
